Emery Oleochemicals Welcomes 2017 OSU Roads Scholars Tour
CINCINNATI, OH (Aug. 3, 2017) – Emery Oleochemicals, a global specialty chemical manufacturer with North American headquarters located in Cincinnati, recently hosted The Ohio State University as part of OSU's 2017 Roads Scholars Tour. Every year, OSU loads up buses with select faculty, staff and students for a 2-day tour of the great state of Ohio. The Tour's purpose is to learn about local Ohio businesses, potential partnerships, and potential future employment opportunities for their graduating students.
Emery's program included a welcome speech by Billy Yeoh, Global Head of Business, and a catered lunch followed by presentations showcasing Emery's Cincinnati Site Operations as well as its Agro Green and Eco-Friendly Polyols business platforms. The program concluded with a guided plant tour of Emery's 35 acre campus, which spans the cities of St. Bernard and Cincinnati.
Dr. Michael Drake, OSU President, attended the program and expressed his appreciation of Emery's hospitality and the opportunity to engage with the company. According to Billy Yeoh, “We are confident that this event will further enhance Emery Oleochemicals' ongoing and future collaborations with The Ohio State University.”
