Latest Technology Developments from Emery Oleochemicals’ Eco-Friendly Polyols Business to be Showcased at Coatings Trends & Technologies 2019
Achieve differential performance and sustainability objectives with EMEROX® polyols based on azelaic acid technology
CINCINNATI, OH, USA (Sept. 04, 2019) - Emery Oleochemicals will showcase its latest product developments of EMEROX® polyols and innovative experimental polyols for coatings applications at the 2019 Coatings Trends & Technologies conference being held in Rosemont, IL, USA on September 10-11.
Eric Geiger, Technology Manager, will be presenting “Advantages of Azelate-Based Polyester Polyols and Their Performance Benefits in Model Polyurethane Coatings” on Wednesday, September 11th at 11:55 am as part of the Green Chemistry track. His presentation will highlight how the company's new series of polyols, which are based on Emery's proprietary azelaic acid (C9 diacid) technology, are similar to petrochemical polyesters in structure and chemistry, but offer differential performance due to the hydrophobic nature of the feedstock. EMEROX® Polyols also possess a high bio-based content (~70-99%), thus enabling formulators and manufacturers to meet sustainability goals.
Meet with Emery‘s technical and industry experts in Booth 16 to learn how EMEROX® Polyols can help you improve your formulations and end products.
