Innovative Electric Vehicle Fluids Research to be Highlighted in Joint Presentation with The Lubrizol Corporation
CINCINNATI, OH, USA (May 06, 2024) - Emery Oleochemicals is pleased to announce its upcoming technical presentation and exhibition at the STLE 2024 Annual Meeting being held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA on May 19-23.
Dr. Jared Nelson, Product & Application Development Lab Manager at Emery, will be giving a joint presentation with Kevin Manouchehri from The Lubrizol Corporation, on "Development and Validation of Structure-Performance Ester Models for EV Fluids" in the Electric Vehicles III 3J Track on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 @ 8:00 am. Lubrication and thermal management are key challenges in the development of next generation fluids for electric vehicles (EV). This presentation highlights the joint design-of-experiment (DoE) approach that was used to systematically explore a variety of molecular structures to understand the tunability of performance properties in EV fluids.
Dr. Matthias Hof, Global Business Manager of Biolubes Esters for Emery’s Bio-Lubricants business unit, will be presenting “How Ester Technology Contributes to Technical & Sustainability Targets” in the Environmentally Friendly Fluids I 6E Track on Wednesday, May 22 at 1:40 pm. Achieving sustainability is one of the dominating challenges in our industry today while technical specifications continue to become more stringent. This presentation will showcase how ester products are currently developed to meet both performance and sustainability goals with insight into future developments.
Mr. John Sliner, Technical Services Manager at Emery, will be presenting "DEHYLUB® Esters Engineered for Enhanced EV Fluid Performance" in the Commercial Marketing Forum V on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 @ 11:40 am. John’s presentation will highlight the company’s initial offering of commercially available esters that have been engineered to provide outstanding performance as base stocks or additives for fluids used in electric vehicle applications and outline exclusive and joint development opportunities.
