Emery Oleochemicals LLC Welcomes New Chemist to Support Its Green Polymer Additives Business

CINCINNATI, OH, USA (April 06, 2020) -  Emery Oleochemicals, a world leading, natural–based specialty chemicals producer and the largest oleochemicals manufacturer in the Americas, is pleased to announce that Dr. Ehsan Moghbelli has joined its Product & Application Development (P&AD) department as a P&AD Chemist based at Emery’s North American headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Moghbelli’s responsibilities are to support Emery’s Green Polymer Additives business in product development and technical service for new and existing customers.

Prior to joining Emery Oleochemicals LLC, Dr. Moghbelli worked as an R&D Engineer and Formulations Specialist in the UPVC extrusion and polyolefins injection molding building industries as well as in the private research sector overseeing various polymer processing and development projects for foaming manufacturing.

Dr. Moghbelli holds a Polymer Engineering degree from Tehran Polytechnic as well as M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, with an emphasis on polymers.

Emery’s Green Polymer Additives Laboratory in Cincinnati is a full-service plastics additives development and testing facility with capabilities involving the determination of physical and rheological properties, thermal stability, and low temperature performance. This facility can produce up to 100 pounds of blended additives and several gallons of liquid products for customer evaluations. Other services available include formulation guidance, production troubleshooting, and polymer characterization.
