Omya to Represent Emery Oleochemicals’ Green Polymer Additives at PLASTINDIA 2023

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (January 23, 2023) – Emery Oleochemicals is pleased to announce that its distribution partner, Omya, will represent and showcase Emery’s Green Polymer Additives (GPA) portfolio of high-performance natural-based additives at Plastindia, February 1-5, in New Delhi, India. Special focus will be on Emery’s recently launched products EDENOL® 2178 and EDENOL® 2192: 100 % biobased polymeric plasticizers compliant with indirect food contact regulations for plastics. EDENOL® 2178 and EDENOL® 2192 differ in their average molecular weight and therefore, in their viscosity. Both products were extensively tested and have proven to provide superior flexibilizing performance in PVC as well as in bioplastics applications. Since they do not reduce the Shore hardness of PLA significantly, they should be considered flexibilizers.
